Product Description
The Birch collection is made to endure the rigors of childhood. Each piece is crafted with the highest quality birch, every drawer is sturdy and spacious, every bed uses metal to metal connectors for added strength making this furniture ideal for any childs room. Made from solid red birch that is grown at a very high altitude. The higher the altitude, the harder the wood. The wood is kiln dried to assure that the moisture content is low to prevent twisting, cracking, or warping. The finishing process involves a four step lacquer process and the only time that it is touched by hands is during the sanding process. It is possibly the smoothest finish that you have ever felt. All joints are metal to metal connections. The cam locks are pre threaded, and taped in position to make for easy assembly. All slats for the beds are pre screwed and tethered making a bunkie board unnessesary. The guard rails are held in place by the metal to metal connections and a series of .75 maple dowels for stability. The ladder on the bed screws in for safety. Can be separated into two identical twin beds. Packaged to exceed expectations. Foam wrapping and Styrofoam block corners in addition to a .75 wood platform protect each piece. 81inL x 43inW x 73.5inH. This product requires some easy assembly. This item ships by truck.
