We purchased this a month ago. It was shipped before the expected date and I was already impressed with that. It came in 3 rather large boxes. We had our garage opened and they delivered it INSIDE the garage!! Talk about service. It wasn't until just yesterday that my husband put the beds together. He said there were only picture instructions to guide you on how to put everything together. Which to be honest, was probably better for my husband because I think he would have otherwise ignored them. You do have to put EVERYTHING together yourself. From the drawers to the slats in the mattress support. But my husband said the instructions were good enough to get the job done as long as you paid attention to the details in the drawing. Oh, and you need 2 people to get the bed together. My husband is a big guy and even he needed help to get the top bunk on the bottom bunk.

We purchased the expresso finish version of this bed. Parts kept coming damaged. They were quick to ship back to us and it did assemble pretty easy. However, the wood was so soft that anything gouges it and takes the finish off. I am very dissappointed and would not recommend it to anyone.
