Mission Merlot Full Slat Bed

The bed frame looks good and appears to be solidly constructed, and if this review were based solely on the bed, I would add another star.

The problem was the "free shipping." When the bed arrived at my home, the freight delivery person informed me that it was "curb side delivery," a term I did not know until that time. I was informed that it was my obligation to get the double-pallet shipment off the truck, as though I had a loading dock and/or a fork lift to lift it off the truck to the ground 3 feet below and onto my property.

Fortunately the delivery person agreed to off load the shipment into my front driveway, and I gave him a significant tip. My complaint is that I would have greatly appreciated being told what "free shipping" actually meant and given the opportunity to choose to pay for some more reasonable option given that this was a residential delivery.
