I looked all around for a loft bed that I thought looked good and that I could live with. I live in a studio apartment and this bed is not only nice looking, it's very functional. I didn't get the desk underneath because I had my own desk I put there. Then I moved to a studio that didn't have a closet so I installed a clothes rod under it which is now my closet. It's not up against the wall on the side like what's shown in the photo so I have access to both sides and my clothes hamper as well as a tall chest is stored there. And there's room for my dog's bed. So, you can do a lot with the space underneath. The movers were able to take it all apart and put it all back together again in my new place without too much trouble.

Originally it was delivered on a pallet and was a huge conglomerate of materials, and I had to be there for the delivery. It was impossible for one person to put together so I had a friend come over to help me. The directions were sketchy and we had to...Read more
