Evoke the spirit of the mountains with this New Zealand Pine youth collection, which pairs the timeless appeal of wood, with a warm amber finish. Every drawer is sturdy and spacious. Every bed uses metal-to-metal connectors for added strength making this furniture ideal for any childs bedroom. Made from solid wood grown at a very high altitude. The higher the altitude, the harder the wood. The wood is kiln dried to assure that the moisture content is low to prevent twisting, cracking, or warping. All joints are metal to metal connections. The cam locks are prethreaded, and taped in position to make for easy assembly. All slats for the beds are prescrewed and tethered making a bunkie board unnessesary. The guard rails are held in place by the metal to metal connections and a series of .75 inch maple dowels for stability. The drawers are solid pine wood construction on the sides and bottom and are English dovetailed front and back for long term durability. All drawers feature a completely finished interior with 4 coats of lacquer hand sanded between each coat of lacquer. Teflon coated Euro glides are used to assure easy opening and closing of the drawers and to keep the drawers square. The ladder on the bed screws in for safety. Packaged to exceed expectations. Foam wrapping and Styrofoam block corners in addition to a 4 inch barrier of foam in front of the drawers and a .75 inch wood platform protect each piece.
