The bed are strong as they look, it was just getting them on time was the hard part. I had to call amazon after reading the tracking number said the box had not been pick up for the wearhouse, amazon could not get anyone to pick up, I called fedex to make sure it was not there problem, they siad NO call the store. so I called again finlly got someone on the phone. the man said he would go thou his wearhouse and make sure it was on the truck that day, and the tracking number would be working in 6 hours. I check the number and it still was not picked up, next day calling the said they would give 20% of shipping back and that was a lie. The company finlly got beds sent 3 days late. Because I had already took down the old toddler bed putting together the new bed was about 2 hours (with a 4yr old and 2 yr old helping) it was easy.
Very nice bunkbed and of excellente quality !!!!,

Very sturdy bunkbeds!!! even my 18 year old son who weighs 309 pounds slept on the bottom bed for a couple of nights and with no problem. Although it is better to get mattresses no more than 6" thick for the bottom bed otherwise it becomes very uncomfortable to sit.I decided to place a piece of plywood on each bed since the slats do not seem to be that strong and it worked very well this way mattresses have a flat and strong surface to rest on now.
