I am very, very happy with this bed. It is a sturdy, heavy, solid piece of furniture, and looks GREAT in our bedroom. Assembly is not for the very faint of heart...instrux are for the detail oriented, and please use or borrow an electric or cordless drill for the many screws you'll need to drill in on the wooden slats. I nearly got a blister on my hand from not using a cordless drill. Anyway, all that aside, if you're able to follow printed instructions well, or know someone who can, this bed is worth it. My husband and I both LOVE it.
