I was very disappointed with this product. My girls were looking foward to getting loft beds, however when the beds arrived we found that we were unable to use them. The box was labeled that the maximum thickness for a mattress could not exceed 6 inches. Nowhere on the Amazon website was this noted and I already had 9 inch mattresses that we were going to use on the loft beds. If I had known about the restriction on mattress thickness I never would have ordered them in the first place. As a result we had to return the loft beds and continue to look elsewhere for loft beds.

I'll be brief. I'm a college student and the room in my apartment this semester was less than spacious. I looked around and found this loft bed and as it turns out it fit perfectly in my room. It took a little bit of set up, and the box weighed almost a hundred pounds, but the shipping was fast and I'm very satisfied with my choice. I think it's the perfect height if you have an eight foot ceiling. The main reason I chose this model was because of the lower support bar that I was able to clamp a door onto for a desk. The bed still shakes a bit when you shift in your sleep, but it's much more stable than many loft beds that I looked at before choosing this one. Overall a great product.
