Hard To Maintain,

My husband and I bought a bed just like this for our pre-teen son after we moved into a small house. We thought it would be a great space saver in his bedroom and it was but it is very, very hard to change the sheets. In order to make the bed up, you have to stand on the ladder and the middle side rail, balance, go back and forth, and put the sheets on. We are of average height and couldn't reach it from the floor. By the time we would finish getting the sheets put back on, we would be exhausted and our feet would hurt from standing on the metal rails. Also, my son quickly outgrew this bed meaning he started hitting his head on the rail or ceiling. Maybe its for shorter kids but the younger they are, they more afraid they are to be up that high. Not worth the investment.
