Captains Bunk Bed Twin over Twin with Trundle and Drawers in Honey

This bed is great. It is very sturdy and has a lot of the features we were looking for...a trundle AND drawers, good space between the bottom bunk and top bunk and it separates in to 2 beds. I can sit on the bed with my son and not have to hunch over. It arrived at my door within 4-5 days after I placed my order. It came in some extremely heavy boxes. If I remember, at least 4 of them were marked "OVER 80 POUNDS."

The only drawback I can think of was the assembly process as a whole. The hardware was thrown together in one large back and it took a long time to sort it out. Some of the screws are just mm's apart and are hard to distinguish. At the very end of it, I had 1 piece that simpy didn't go anywhere. I couldn't find it listed in the instructions anywhere nor could I find any holes that seemed to be missing a piece. It was strange. Also, I put this bed together by myself and it took me 11 hours. This bed is very beautiful. It is a little wobbly, it could be that I set it up wrong though. The wood is very soft, so you have to be very careful not to smash it.

We love this bed. It looks great and works perfectly for our space. It is sturdy and the wood is high quality. The top bunk can also function as a seperate bed if we want. It arrived earlier than was expected in four large boxes. All of the boxes were double to help protect from damage from shipping. There was plenty of cardboard to discard but I appreciated the added security. I was able to put it together with assistance from my kids and a drill. (There are a lot of screws involved.) My husband only had to help lift the top bunk up to it's place. There were a lot of pieces involved and so I did not go over everything at the start. I realized towards the end of the process, that we were missing the pieces to connect the ladder. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they sent the replacements much faster than expected.
