I put this bed together all by myself and it wasn't hard to do. It looks beautiful, just like the picture shows. I had a little bit of a hard time finding a mattress for the trundle part, which is not the fault of the bed, it's because mattresses are so tall now! I didn't realize this until I tried to stuff a mattress into it - so beware of this when looking for mattresses and you won't have to shop twice.
