 Good bed for price, This review is from: Bunk Bed Twin over Full Mission style in Cappuccino We bought this bed for my 3yo son's room. My husband put it together in a few hours and it looks really great. It's a very solid piece of furniture and the space between the lower bed and upper bed is decent (I have seen other bunks with very little space). Plus, the price is very good compared to other bunks being sold in stores and on the net.
Even though I gave 5 stars, I do have two minor issues with the bunk we received: 1. The color of the stain on the upper bed is a bit darker than the lower bed...not a lot, but it's definitely noticable and annoying to me, 2. The smell of the wood finish is pretty overwhelming the first few days out of the box. It's been a week now, and the odor is still present in my son's room. We've had to put the ceiling fan on everyday to help. If you have some time once you get the bed, I suggest opening the box and letting the boards air out a few days before putting it together. 2 of 4 people found the following review helpful:  JUNK!!!, By This review is from: Bunk Bed Twin over Full Mission style in Cappuccino I was really excitied when I stumbled upon these bunk beds, and even more excitied about the price. I should have known it was too good to be true. We really liked the bunk beds at first, and they shipped really fast. However, when we got the beds put together, some of the un-finished wood showed through, like at the top of the slats. However, the big problem was when the support beam under the bed cracked, because there was a knot in the wood, which made it crack. I have had the beds less than 6 months. When I contacted customer service, they told me they would replace it for free, but I would have to pay the shipping-which was $40.00! Um, sorry, but it was the cheap materials used to construct the bed which made it crack. Not my mis-use. Under those circumstances, I would have thought they would have covered the shipping.
